I'm intrigued by the idea of using Pendraken Marlburians, and impressed by your comparison picture - may give it a go. Kallistra would have been ideal, being virtually the same size as Laing figs, but unfortunately his AWU range isn't what I'm looking for.
Meanwhile I have a whole load of not terribly well painted AWI infantry, and a tiny number (3,4>) of cavalry, which I had been planning to use as "fake Marlburians", but the tricorne infantryman in the Hallmark range is an acceptable substitute.
If you still need infantrymen you are welcome to the lost, for the cost of postage - I'd rather they went to a good home than stick them on ebay. Let me know if you are interested.
Best wishes, Roy Beers, Glasgow.Roy Beershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15473843387938105583noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7174146262920547660.post-16842126167727183292019-09-22T10:55:08.594+10:002019-09-22T10:55:08.594+10:00I too prefer the simpler toy soldier look.
