WW2 Campaign Turn 2 - Game 3 setup

So far 2 Western Desert games have been played as part of campaign turn 2. Each campaign turn has the best of three games. If the attacking army in the campaign turn wins 2 games (battles) they progress 1 map zone. If the defenders win 2 games their defences hold and both armies remain in their current map zone.
Campaign map turn 2 underway with the best of 3 games.
In the first game the Allies won, but in the second game the 21st Panzer division was able to just secure a victory. We now move to the third and deciding game for campaign turn 2, where the 15th Panzer division is attacking an Allied armoured division near the coast.

Terrain cards are drawn and the Allies and defenders chooses their preferred side. They end up switching two cards horizontally, while Axis forces pass on any horizontal card switches.

Original terrain card layout. The red arrow shows the Allied base side.
Allied player switches two cards to put a second set of hills on their base edge.
The Axis player passes any card switches and the cards remain unchanged.
Yesterday I was able to produce a draft of the rules I am using to play the games. They are a variation of Lock ’n’ Load’s free to download Tank on Tank living ruleset, and have been adjusted for the WW2 Western Desert Campaign.

The changes and additions are to the: activations, combat which uses a D10, smoke screens, burning wrecks, moving units and the resulting dust, and visibility at various times of the day.

A link to the rules can be found at below the blog header.
